It was late afternoon when I spotted this fisherman on a dugout canoe in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato (in southern Mindanao). With his paddle on his left hand, he was getting ready to leave for home after pulling his nets. I noticed he was able to catch a good number of medium sized tilapia, probably enough for his family's meals the next day.
He made balancing on one end of the canoe looked so easy. I tried it before, as a young lad. I always end up in the water.
I hope you all have a nice weekend. Keep it simple.

evrytime you post something about lake sebu, it makes me more curious.
byahe na dun bro :D. its THE destination sa southern Mindanao. hinde lang vistas ang maganda dun, you can also immerse yourself in Lumad culture there.
ang galing nya mag balance nga! cant imagine my self doing that...
@mimi - even the kids there made it looked so easy. thanks for visit!
@dom - if you are going there in July bro you'll be able to witness the T'nalak festival in Koronadal (3 towns away from Lake Sebu and is the capital of the province). Oggie and Ferdz went there already and they have vowed to return to Lake Sebu :)
wow!a wonderful shot and the capture says it all:) a happy & simple living- making the most out of it:)
@shawie - thanks for the visit! Glad you liked the photo
I've always been amazed by these people.
Great shot. I had so many attempts at making this kind of shot but my output just always looks shabby. Haha.
See you here, soon!
@Ayel - thanks for the visit bro!
