So there I was, at a loss for words to describe the scene before me. Everything was quiet as the evening falls and things settled down. But the sky was screaming, so to speak.
During our recent family vacation to the touristy island of Bohol, we opted to stay in the nearby Panglao island. In fact we stayed in the town of Panglao at the south western end, away from the crowd and the resorts in Alona beach. I like it much better this way, rustic and natural.
There is this spot at the back of Panglao church and just beyond the Panglao watch tower. Its a small jetty where outrigger boats bound for Balicasag or Pamilacan islands are docked after a long day of island hopping. I knew I was in the right spot, for this seem to be a favorite as well among the locals.
The water was calm that afternoon. A couple of sweethearts strolled by and found their own "private" spot and sat down. A family was further out and taking advantage of the low tide for an evening swim. We were all there, anticipating what the final show of the day will be.
And then the show started.

@Robots in Trouble, yup I took those. Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed them. It was an amazing evening, one of the few that I'll always remember. I'm glad I've succeeded in conveying how I felt during that sunset.
These sunset photos are a gem, especially the first one. Keep shooting.
