Pundakit is a small fishing village in the town of San Antonio that has become the jump off point to Zambales' now famous coves and islands.
Ferrying island hoppers to the nearby Capones and Camara islands or to the "hidden coves" used to augment the local's fishing livelihood. Now its the main source of income, with throngs of tourist heading to the not-so-secret-coves of Anawangin, Nagsasa, and Silaguin on a daily basis. Pundakit's swells have also caught the attention of surfers although its not as popular as the surfing spots in La Union.
Though I have frequented the place (en-route to the coves of course), its not often that I see it on a fine summer day.
Here are some takes I took on my recent trip to Nagsasa. The sea was a perfect blue-green color, clouds were fluffy white, and the sky was a deep azure (thanks partly to the circular polarizer anyway).
