The journey continues...
This time we headed north along Pangasinan's west coast (Burgos and Dasol). We came across a large formation of rocks in Brgy Ilio-ilio in the town of Burgos. The locals call the rock formation "Timapog na Bato" which means "a rock that moved to the sea". The place is a favorite excursion destination for the townspeople of Burgos and the nearby barangays of Dasol.
The rocks provide an excellent shade for the beach goers. It's very cool under the rocks even with the searing summer heat. The water in front of Timapog na Bato is also a great snorkeling site. The area is generally shallow but it has "holes" about 5-7 feet deep scattered all over. Small colorful fishes have made these holes their home.

@dailyphotographer - thanks for the visit too.
@dong - thanks bro! the rock formation along the Pangasinan's west coast are really amazing
the rock tower is amazing, it looks like it's screaming or something like a hairdo of an alien in one movie
@zherwin - you are right! It does look like a screaming head. Thanks for that bro!
You captured kabakungan cave so beautifully! And your shots of timapog na (screaming)bato are inspiring. I wish I was back there sipping cold manganog ulit! Keep up the good work! galing!
@demeter - Our trips always produce images I can be very proud of :). Someone from Burgos is already asking me when we plan to go back there. hehehe
we have relatives in burgos, but they haven't told us that an amzing work of nature is existing in their place. i also tried searhing for a local government site of the municipality of burgos but seems like there is no existing website. no wonder, nobody here in alaminos, a neighboring city of burgos, that i know, knows about it... i even searched for the sambay falls in burgos w/c i happened to read, just cited in one of the news article in Alaminos, but failed to see any information or even pictures of it. do you have some pix of sambay falls in burgos that you can also post? please do post if you have. thank you in advance. God bless!

@anonymous - thanks for the visit. there are lots of "undiscovered" nooks in the western coast of Pangasinan. Unfortunately I have not been to Sambay Falls. Looks like its a nice destination.
correction please, it's not Sambay Falls. . . it's SANGBAY FALLS. . . i should know the place 'coz i'm exactly from Sangbay, Burgos, pangasinan. . .
Thanks for the correction Mr. Bond! I'm sure "anonymous" would appreciate it. Your home town is a beautiful place, hope to explore more of it.

@Anonymous, never been there. thanks for the tip :)
Sangbay falls is at Brgy. San Vicente, Burgos. Ask the tricycle drivers at the town proper so they can guide you papunta dun. Travel is on foot, sa daan pa lang adventure na.
how long is the trip from Burgoz town to the said place? except to the 30 minutes boat trip
its still 1-1.5 hours from Burgos to this place (expect rough roads)
my trail na po ba ung daan pa papuntang sangbay falls from brgy san vicente??? hindi po ba nakakaligaw??? where planning to go there together with my friends.. thank you po
Not sure, I have not been there yet.
