In a place where the fog moves in late in the afternoon and does not lift until the sun is quite high in the sky the next day, it a real treat seeing beautiful sunrise colors.
It was overcast and gray the previous days but we got lucky on our last morning there. It was actually just an icing on the cake, for the real treat was shooting around the village and getting the chance to take portraits of the tattooed women.

Our luck seemed to be endless on that trip. The fields were being readied for planting and the paddies are full of water. The burst of colors we saw in the sky was perfectly reflected on the mirror like surface of the paddies.
