I guess when Mother Nature decides to give you a light show, she does not care if you are in some fancy location or in your exotic dream destination.

So there I was, preparing BBQ for dinner (it was my daughter's birthday), when the sky showed signs of what could be a wicked sunset. I grabbed my gear and head out to a rice field just outside of our village. My wife, who went out to get my daughter's cake, passed me shooting by the field. She just smiled and said a quick "hi", she knows how crazy I get when I see skies like this.


An ordinary scene, one I am quite used to, transformed into a surreal one as the sky puts on its best colors.
