Its the holiday season again and the lights and sound show in Ayala Triangle is back (in its 4th year now), this time re-branded as the "Ayala Enchanting Lights and Sound Show". (Last year it was called the Ayala Symphony of Lights)
Ayala Triangle
The Ayala Triangle is all decked out in beautiful light decorations, a work of art by award winning lighting designer Voltaire de Jesus. Just like last year, it was a joy to watch (but a pain to shoot, it really suited for videos). This year's music is from composers from Liquid Post: Mikey Arnistoso and Jass Nicholas.
magical floating orbs
This year the light design is highlighted by glowing orbs (last year is was stars). These orbs, together with small lights that seem to rain down from the sky, "dances" to the tune of different popular Christmas songs, beautifully arranged if I may add.
rain of lights
Another good change is that this year's show runs every 30 minutes (from 6PM - 9PM) instead of every hour.
Don't go just yet after you've seen a show, because there are actually 2 sets! The other one features lasers and artificial smoke.
lights, lasers, and smoke
I think the light design of last year was more colorful and dynamic (probably influenced by the choice of music as well), but I love the music selection this year.
Its a great place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy the sights and sound. You can watch the show over and over again since its free.
Update 2012/12/8:
I went back there a couple more times with several friends. Here are some of my favorite images:

Good Day,
I'm Jared from Mabuhay Magazine, the inflight magazine for Philippine Airlines. We are running a mini feature on Ayala Lights and Sounds Show in our December 2013 issue and we were wondering if we could use one of your photos along with it. We are looking forward to you immediate and positive reply!
Best,
Jared
