About Me

My photo
This blog is an amateur photographer's attempt to show how beautiful the world really is. He is drawn to the colors of nature like a moth to a candle light. What are showcased here are nature's grand display of colors at sunrise and sunset, beautiful beaches and off-the-beaten track locations in his beloved Philippines, waterfalls and some of nature's great sculptures, architectural gems, and other views from around SE Asia that he was fortunate to see at one point.

the candaba experience

The swamp in Candaba is popular for the flocks of migratory birds that made the place their breeding grounds. Some even chose to stay there for good :).

If you don't have the right equipment for birding, Candaba also offers scenic landscapes . You have a great view of the sunset and Mt. Arayat offers a great background.

As twilight falls, it gets harder and harder to leave the place knowing that it has more to offer as each minute passes.

The 7 km (night) trek to Candaba town proper is certainly worth it - if this is what you'll see along the way.

@vanny - tips? ok hehe. are you keen to joining photo groups? we have one group in flickr where a lot of the members use P&S camera during photo walks/photo hunt :)

I guess you can start by understand exposure basics, but with a smart gal like you this wouldn't be any problem at all hehehe.

You'll find a lot of useful info from this guy: Ken Rockwell
